Miguel Garza Bio:
Miguel Rockstar Garza has lived in the Tampa bay area for just over a year. His writing style comes from coming up with melodic guitar riffs and then writing relatable lyrics to those melodies. Rockstars music is a blend of acoustic pop/ adult contemporary with a dash of John Mayer influence
Cormac Kavanagh Bio:
Fascinated by hearing the opening riff of Deep Purple's "Black night" at age 10, Cormac would be hooked on music. Starting with classical guitar, moving on to learning every blues/rock solo by the likes of Hendrix. Clapton, Peter Green it would become a life long passion. It was inevitably going to be the only life/career option even if interrupted by every job from bartender to forester to chemist, it was only a matter of time before he would manage to make it a full time career.
Firstly being a sideman, electric guitar hero, he moved into funk and indie areas, all the while honing his songwriting, teaching,touring constantly, solo and in bands around Ireland, UK and Europe.
"Music has been an integral part of my life, and I believe that it has the power to bring people together. Through my music, I aim to create an emotional connection with my audience and take them on a journey. I am influenced by various genres of music, and I incorporate these influences in my compositions. My music is a reflection of my life"
Mia Marlene Bio:
Danish-American multi-instrumentalist Mia Marlene offers a vibrant sonic world through her music, which is infused with hues of 1980's synth pop and lush, captivating melodies. Her self-produced debut album, "good for my art," features songs about living abroad, creative aspirations, and unrequited love.
Mia Marlene's music is anchored in her many experiences living in London, Copenhagen, Colorado, and Washington D.C.. These places shaped her sonic vision and imprinted onto her the wealth of the human experience. Her driving belief is that all facets of the life experience can serve as creative fuel for songwriting and music-making. She looks forward to pulling back the layers of her music back to where each song began; in a room with just her voice and an acoustic guitar.

WRITERS IN THE ROUND is patterned after the original Blue Bird Café events held in Nashville Tennessee. The Songwriters will be sitting in a circle with the audience surrounding them. Each Singer/Songwriter will introduce their song and give us an insight as to its creation. This intimate setting will help cultivate a truly unique evening of entertainment and a one of a kind musical experience. Our seating will be limited to 85 seats with only Three VIP Tables with 3 seats available.So be sure to get your tickets early before they are sold out.
