1990 Martin Custom Shop 000-28SO (Sing Out!)
Built to commemorate the 40th Anniversary of Sing Out! Magazine, the influential folk music publication closely associated with artists such as Pete Seeger, these guitars were handcrafted in Martin’s Custom Shop with several unique features not found on a standard 000-28.
- Only 40 produced (this is #5/40)
- 5/16” scalloped X-bracing, giving it more power and responsiveness than the standard bracing used on 000-28 models of the era
- 25.5” long scale for increased projection and headroom
- Beautiful snowflake fingerboard inlays
- Classic 28-style top with a 45-style back strip
