This D-25 is all Mahogany and has the arched back. It sounds wonderful and is a particularly nice sounding guitar - great for bluegrass due to its volume and tone. Warm with nice low-end, crisp highs, and well-defined mids - plus great attack and plenty of headroom.
This guitar is in Good condition, it has some finish spot touches across its top and a few small dings, but it plays smoothly, and is otherwise clean. It has a Rosewood fingerboard with mother-of-pearl dot inlays, a tortoiseshell pickguard, a ring rosette and matching purfling, as well as black binding. The scale length is slightly longer than usual, at 25 9/16", and the nut width is 1 21/32". A real player, even after 40 years, this Guild Bluegrass D-25M guitar sounds great - very open and inviting, and includes its original hardshell case.
